Sure. In the older version of Word for Mac, you would type up, say a one page letter, there was a preview button, I believe, it would open a separate window and it would show you the entire page like it would look when printed. You could check to see if
the printed document appeared the way you intend for it to look.
Now all you get before printing is that tiny thing on the print setup, where you set how many copies, two sided print, etc. That thing is so small it is worthless!
In Excel, there was the print preview button and the same thing, it took you to a window showing what the print area was going to look like. Also, you had the capabilities to add the headers and footers, then see if that is how you wanted the page to look
like. Nearly full screen. Now it is that tiny POS, that as an elder person, I cannot read or see if is how I want my document to appear.
Today working in Excel I tried to add headers and footers, it tried to do it on the actual worksheet and wanted to add it in the middle of the spreadsheet! I mean ready...
Why does MS trash something that was working well and take a step backwards. Plus MS doesn't want to listen or correct or give the paying customer what they've ask for.
Had I known how MS Office 365 for Mac performs now, I would NOT have upgraded! The only reason I did was because Outlook was screwing up and had to re-id itself everyday! I could have started using my Apple mail and kept the other working apps. But then,
MS was stopping giving any further updates and support. Quite frankly the support since "upgrading" has not been good.
I thank you for trying to make it look like someone cares about my frustrations, but I fear it is all for naught.
