Pencil by 53 in OneNote compatibility?

hi, i have a new ipad with IOS up to date and the latest download of OneNote.  I was under the impression that the Pencil from FiftyThree was compatible, however, it doesnt appear in the stylus menu of OneNote.  From reading online, it sounds like earlier versions of OneNote included the stylus, but now its disappeared from the stylus options.

Can you tell me if this is a bug that will be fixed in OneNote?  Or did you drop support for this stylus?  If it wont work, I need to know so I can return the Pencil before its too late.

Thanks,

Mike

    Apologies in advance.

You should return it as this is no longer being supported.

    Pencil 53 doesn't list Onenote as a supported application anymore - https://support.fiftythree.com/hc/en-us/article...

Okay, so I  get that partnerships change between companies. But consumers make a day-to-day productivity routine with arrangements that existed before. Getting to use the apple pencil is ridiculously expensive and the 53 pencil is so much more affordable

How can a consumer re-install an older version of OneNote on iOS that had the pencil by 53 compatability??
