    \langle and \rangle do the angle brackets at U+27E8 and U+27E9 which are "Mathematical Left ANgle Bracket" and "Mathematical Right Angle Bracket". In Cambria Math (still the only font choice I have here for Equations) they are visually similar if not identical.

    You can always create your own Math Autocorrect entries by inserting the symbol manually via Insert->Symbol, selecting it, then going to File->Options->Proofing->AutoCorrect Options...->Math AutoCorrect and creating a new autocorrect there.

    When using a font that supports it, such as Cambria Math, typing 2329 then pressing ALT-x will insert the opening bracket and 232A then ALT-x will insert the closing one.
