How to open Visio 2016 on .vsdx files in Office 365 online by default

We have 2 sharepoint sites. On the one site when I open a vsdx-file the document opens in Visio 2016, on the other site when I open a vsdx-file the document opens in Visio Online. Where can I find the setting to change the default program in Office 365 Online?

Also, I have Visio 2016 associated with a vsdx file, so when I open a vsdx on by local disc, Visio 2016 opens by default.

    Hi AHarbers,

To open vsdx file in Visio Online by default, you need to go to Library Settings > Advanced Settings.

In Opening Documents in the Browser option, choose Open in the browser. Then when you open vsdx file in the library, the file will open in the Visio Online.

    Regards,

    Tisky
