Word 2013 - I don't see any tooltips with the URL showing when hovering over a hyperlink, but I want to see them. Or it could be that I should see it in the left bottom of the window. It doesn't matter, I just need to see the URL before I click (I want to know what I click on) and cannot find out how.

Go to File > Options > Display and make sure the Show document tooltips on hover ... is checked.

If you've left your computer running for an extended period of time and have not shutdown... try shutting down and restarting.

I assume that you do have display of tooltips turned on in the options.

If none of the other suggestions are helpful, right-click on the hyperlink, choose Edit Hyperlink, and, in the Edit Hyperlink dialog, click on the ScreenTip... button to make sure that the ScreenTip text box isn't blank (not just empty but a blank space).

These flash by very quickly, both on the screen and in the status bar. If I blink they are gone.

    Hello !

I'd be a good idea to repair Office , following these steps :

Open up the Control Panel on your PC (and show All Control Panel items, if necessary) and click on Programs, then Programs and Features.
Find Microsoft Office in the list and highlight it .Also say Microsoft Office 365
    Click Change.
Select Repair and online Repair then follow the prompts.

Hope it helps , please let me know if it worked !!

    Best regards
