How large is download of Office 365 Home for Mac? Can I download to a flash drive and install?

We have slow internet. How large is the download? Is it a big .dmg file?

Can I download to a pen/flash drive and install on multiple machines (5 are allowed) from that? I don't want to download it multiple times as it uses allotted bandwidth which we might be charged for.

Thanks for help.

    1. I just clicked to download this and size is 1.7 GB.
    2. Yes, you need not download on 5 different machines. You can use this downloaded package.

Yes, you need not download again and again unless you want a new version.

Thank you. I just signed up and downloaded / installed Office 365 on my iMac. The download is a 1.79 GB installer .pkg file. The install took only a few minutes and was flawless on my High Sierra iMac.

I don't think I have to re-download the installer .pkg file again to install on my laptop. I bet I can just copy it to the laptop, install it, and do the sign-in/activate thing. Yes?

BTW, I went to the live-chat to ask a question and they gave me a THREE MONTH free trial. That was nice of them.

I've only had Word up for a few minutes but so far I'm happy with the product. It is way better than the 2011 Mac version as well as the free LIbreOffice  (and it should be!)
