How do I change a Sharepoint Site's Email address

Hello - I set up a new site and now regret the lengthy email address that it automatically created for the site.

how can I change it?

    Based on your description, it is a site mailbox. If there is anything wrong, please correct me. Refer to the Q&A in the link, it isn't feasible to change a site mailbox email address. If you want to change it, it is suggested to give feedback to our related engineers via Office 365 Uservoice. It is the best way to let our team to hear your voice.     No - Ran - i'm not trying to change the URL of the site.

    When setting up a new Sharepoint - there's a feature where it creates an email address for the site.

    I want to change that email address - nothing about the site itself.

    Hi WayneLevin,

    Do you want to change the URL of the site?

    If yes, we can only change the URL of subsites. If it is a subsite, go to Site Settings of the site and then select Title, description and logo under Look and Feel, then you can change the web site address.

    If it is not the situation, please let me know where you created the site and which part you want to change.
