Is there any way to increase the thickness/visibility of the cursor in Microsoft Word for MacOS?

I've seen several posts on this and other forums, but no solutions so far....

Thanks, in advance, for your help.

John

    Hi,

The following procedure guide you to Increase cursor visibility Mac OS:

If you have difficulty seeing or following the mouse pointer when it moves—or changes to an insertion point, crosshair, or other shape—you can increase its size.

Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Accessibility.

Click Display, then drag the Cursor Size slider to the right to make it larger.

Tip: To make the pointer larger temporarily, quickly move your finger on the trackpad or quickly move the mouse. To turn this feature off, deselect “Shake mouse pointer to locate” in the Display pane of Accessibility preferences.

    I hope it helps,

    Best Regards,

Thank you, Diego.  I was aware of this procedure, and it does do what you say.

However, it does not increase the thickness of the flashing and very thin line that shows where the next letter/number/symbol will be placed.  That is the item which is getting harder for me to locate.  If that flashing line was just one more pixel wide it would be very easily seen!

    Thanks again.
