Hello,

I understand what "Read Count" means; however, i'm really not sure how Yammer notices what you have read and what you haven't.

The explanation i found online doesn't make any sense to me.

Please advise.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Hello,

    Greetings !!!

When the users goes through an Message / post by navigating  to respective Yammer group / network and  scrolling to the respective message / post of Yammer, Yammer counts it as Read.

    Also please note

    • Read:- is the number of unique messages that the user read during the time period you specified.
      • Read is the number of unique messages that the user read during the time period , which includes posts and the comments of the posts.

For E.g. If a person read a one post and under that 3 Comments for the same posts so the Read Count will show 4  (1 +3 )

    Thanks and Regards
