How do I print a document to a TIF file in windows 10?

The TIFF image must be created to the following specifications:

1.     Size - true to the approved form size (A2, A3 or A4)

2.     Colour - must be black and white (monochrome)

3.     Resolution - 200 dots per inch (dpi)

4.     Compression - CCITT Group 4

5.     Where there is more than one sheet to a plan each file must be created as a multipage TIFF.

You need to setup the print capture: Right click the icon in the Windows system tray > References > Capture > Printer Capture Settings. You can setup the advanced settings of the driver to whatever you need then print the document to the Snagit Driver.

Save the output as TIF with the required compression settings.

As Tim suggests, you will need a third party driver for this. SnagIt works particularly well and can be configured as you require. There is a fully working 15 day trial version that should allow you to establish whether it is worth the cost (which is quite reasonable).  It is one of a very small number of products I could not manage without.

    Hi Daniel,

Based on my search, there is no official article about how to convert documents to TIFF format. You may need to search for some third-party tools/solutions which can achieve your requirement. You could also monitor this thread to see if our members have some good suggestions. Below are some articles for your reference based on my personal search:

    Print to TIFF

Convert Word to TIFF with TIFF Image Printer
