Access denied to One Drive for Business

I'm a system admin and when i log in to 365 I can access all the apps except One Drive.  When I click the One Drive icon/app, I get the message in the picture below.  So, I click the sign in link in the picture and it then signs me out of 365 on both tabs and presents me another screen to login on the main 365 page.  I use the same credentials to log in and now I have access to One Drive.  Sometimes I have to do this step a couple times to get access.  ![](https://learn-attachment.microsoft.com/api/attachments/38343ef5-2462-459f-87c9-f863f0865df7?platform=QnA

    Hi Matt,

    Thanks for your updates.

You could open a private window with Chrome or other browsers, enter the URL https://yourdomain-my.sharepoint.com, and then sign in the page with your work/school account. Check if it will run into the same issue. Meanwhile, OneDrive for Business is related to SharePoint Online. If you click SharePoint tile and click any site on the page, will you be asked to log in?

For another two parts from your last post, I have some questions:

    1. Does the personal account has the same email address as your work/school account?
    2. If it's convenient, change to another Mac and Windows device to access your OneDrive for Business library. Check if the issue is related to your specific Mac or all Mac devices.
    3. Could you record a video for the behavior "click on a down carrot, it goes away instantly and have to click a couple times to get it to stay and select the item"? You may upload it to your cloud storage and then share with us a guest/download link of the video in my private message.

Note: In the video, you could also record the repeated login issue of OneDrive for Business.

    Regards,

    Tim

    1. somewhat random, but pretty much happens every time and sometimes has a couple tries to get it to work.  It seemed like it got worse over the last few months.
    2. not that I'm aware of
    3. I had a personal account (son's Xbox) that was also tied to this email.  I killed that account this last weekend in hopes that it would help but no luck.  Also, it said the account won't actually be deleted for 60 days.  I never accessed the personal account but Microsoft obviously recognized that I had a personal account.  We are using Okta as our identification provider/integrated to 365 as of a couple weeks ago and this hasn't really had any affect on it being better or worse.
    4. All functions of OneDrive work, except the last couple days, anytime I click on a down carrot, it goes away instantly and have to click a couple times to get it to stay and select the item.  This may just be on my Mac.

I've only accessed using Chrome (signed in) and could try the other browsers to see.

    Hi Matt,

To better understand the situation, I'd like to confirm the following things:

    1. Do you mean this is a random issue and at last you are able to access OneDrive for Business library after relogging?
    2. Do other users in your tenant encounter the same issue?
    3. Do you always use one account or will use other work/school accounts in the same browser? You could open private window or use different browser for different accounts.
    4. After you access OneDrive for Business library, do all functions work well in it (e.g. upload files, create new files, edit files and so on)?

    Best regards,

    Tim
