If I change one bullet list, it changes all the bullet lists. I want to be able to manage several lists separately within the same document

I have a document with multiple bullet lists within.  When I format one set of bullets, it will format unrelated bullet sets.  This is really annoying.  Even if I select the list, remove the bullet points and then try to bullet them again, all the lists change.  How can I format each set of bullet lists separately?

You need to create separate Styles for each type of bulleted list that you want to use.
