Hi

I am a trustee (Director) of a UK Charity and we are looking at upgrading our computer system.

I understand that for the US you have a special NO PROFIT deal for your OFFICE 365.

Do you have something equivalent for a UK registered charity?

If so could you let me know who to contact and how to proceed?

Many thanks for your help.

Kind regards

Nicolas Dreyfus

    Hi Nicolas Dreyfus,

    Thanks for your reply.

Do you register as a nonprofit according to the article above?

Your organization is needed to be checked eligibility for the Office nonprofit.

The process can take up to 20 business days

You can write about the situation of your organization as you reply in the Mission Statement.

    Best Regards,

    Gloria

    Hi Gloria

I am a trustee of a Charity in London which is a French Medical Center but for some reason Microsoft DO NOT consider Medical Charity as a NON PROFIT organisation to do business with.

    So we are extremely disappointed.

We have a French Speaking Medical Centre to help usually young French speaking people who are either not registered with the NHS or we work as a Social Group to help French speaking people how are left with not much support from family (usually eldery who have lost their husband and are a bit alone in London or the UK.

Our medical centre is a NOT FOR PROFIT center. All doctors works for no pay as volunteers we also have a small number of helpers that visit our elderly population as volunteers

We hugely rely on money we raised from charity events within the French community.

We do not sale any medicine to our patients, We only charge them a minimal fee of £10.00 all inclusive of Doctor Visit, some medicine etc...

    And some do not event have to pay for this service.;

As a Medical Center in the UK we HAVE to be recognized by CQC.

So we feel extremely disappointed that MICROSOFT does not allow charities like ours to be a NON PROFIT organisation eligible for your special rate.

If you could make an "exception" we will be more than delighted.

    Many thanks for  your help.

    Kind regards
