White Space at Bottom of PowerPoint Slide

Community,

Somehow, I've managed to get a huge, white space at the bottom of all of my slides and I can't figure out what I did or how to get rid of it. It doesn't affect the management or printing of the slides but just sits there useless, taunting me. Does anybody know what I did or how to get rid of the blank-ness? I've tried slide size options, reset slides, and looking at the master.

This is a guess based on your screen shot, but it looks like you may have switched your slide orientation from landscape to portrait. To fix this:

    1. With your presentation open, choose DESIGN>Slide Size>Custom Slide Size...
    2. Change Slides from Portrait to Landscape.
    3. OK out. PowerPoint will give you a choice of Maximise or Ensure Fit. Try one, then undo and try the other to see which results in the least distortion. If neither works to fix it, undo and please post again.
