Hi
"find-specific-data-within-multiple-excel-files"
We have several hundred Excel files within a single folder on our network. We are looking for a way to search through each of those files to see if a single cell contains a particular value.
Any ideas?

Suggest you visit Ron de Bruin's site and browse through the Merge Workbooks section.
Note also Ron's Free RDBMerge Add-in. Very handy tool.

Dear Gord,
thanks for your interesting
it is very close to what i need, however i would like to call up the value from specific cell from one excel ( which is exist within many excel file in specific folder) to master excel file.
in more details;
i have several excel files , each one contains the daily data of our plant (many data), i build up the main excel file to do calculation based on these raw data,
lets see i would like to call up the value of cell no. " D4 " from the daily data file (i shall define the required date).
