Based on our research, it is not feasible to directly send a reminder to users when you create a task in OneNote 2016, while there is an workaround you may try:
- In OneNote, click Outlook Tasks drop down menu under Home tab and choose Custom.
- In the prompt window, click Assign Task in Manager Task group under Task tab, assign the task to users.
- When users receive the task, they can set a reminder for the task to remind themselves.
Regarding your second request, since we focus on one question on each thread, we suggest you post a new thread for the assistance. Meanwhile, you can manage the emails by moving them into a subfolder.
