I have an office 365 home subscription.  Will this version allow recording and executing VBA macros?  If not, what version will?

I determined by some research on the web that the problem might be user profile related.  I followed the following instructions that I found on the web.

I created another user account, logged in, and tried to create the developer tab as follows:

    1. Click the File tab.
    2. Click Options.
    3. Click Customize Ribbon.
    4. Under Customize Ribbon and under Main Tabs, select the Developer check box.

The operation was successful in adding the Developer tab, and I was able to create and run macros.

So I'm not going to spend a lot of time trying to figure what is wrong with my original user profile, and will instead use the new user account that I created.

Thank you all for your input.

This I know.   I have the online version which I paid for and it works on my win7 machine, but not on my win10 machine.

My actual problem is that when I use the File-Customize Ribbon-Developer Tabin Excel, I get the following message:

The server drafts location you entered for offline editing is not valid or you do not have permission to access that location.  Specify a location on your local computer.

When I go to the File-Options-Offline editing option for document management server files, it tells me that the feature is no longer supported and suggests that checked out files are now saved to the Office Document Cache.  I have no idea where this is located and how it relates to my problem.

Any help in figuring this out would be greatly appreciated.
