what is mean by conflict status with the profile report in Intune

Hello ,
I have deploying the ios restriction on some device but profile is not getting deploy on this device further checked that in profile status ,it showing conflict for device.What is meant here for conflict is status.

    @Richa Kumari Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

    "Conflict" means there's an existing setting on the device that Intune can't override. Or, you deployed two policies with the same setting using different values.

    Please check if there are multiple iOS restriction polices deployed to the same device group. If yes, please check if the same setting of these restriction polices has different values.

    Policy conflicts are not allowed in Intune. Basically, you have the same settings configured with a different value in multiple places while simultaneously assigned to the same device(s). This results in a conflict that Intune does not attempt to resolve or arbitrate as it can't. You must arbitrate this conflict.
