Microsoft word translate text (entire document)

When i see this link https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/translator/business/word/ it shows me how to translate an entire document exactly how i want it to work. however what actually happens is what they show on this youtube video https://youtu.be/sOMNPRPk6KE and that link to the youtube video is actually on the first link.

Can someone tell me how to achieve translating an entire word document please?

    Thanks Tina,

    My office version is controlled by my company and they say it will be updated soon. so i will have to wait for that to confirm that it worked.

    Hi Joey1HM,

    From my test,, Translate Document works well on the latest version 1803 (Build 9126.2275) on your Semi-Annual channel. It is strongly recommended to stay up-to-date to get the latest security and non-security updates. This feature is available to Office 365 subscribers using Version 1710 or higher of Word. You must also be connected to the internet, and have Office Intelligent services to use Translator.

    As we can tell from this article and also the How it works section in the article https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/translator/business/word/ you provided, Translate feature instruction has been updated.

    Hi Joey1HM,

    Thanks for getting back to us.

    Your Office version is several months behind. To ensure the security and get Office features, security and non-security updates, I'd like to suggest going to File > Account > Update Options > Update Now to update your Office to the latest Version 1803 (Build 9126.2275). Let us know if you still have any concern.

    That's not my user experience, my user experience is the same as in that "old" video. Please see below my product information, Version 1708 (Build 8431.2270 click-to-run)

    Hi Joey1HM,

    Thanks for the query and we are here to assist you on this.

    If you want to translate an entire document, please refer to video starting from 1 min 18 second. It is quite old video and it may not apply to your latest Word on Windows 10, but general steps are similar. On the latest Word version on Monthly Channel, we can click Review tab > Translate > select language after To in the translater Pane > click OK to translate entire document.

    Let us know if you have further queries with your Office version ( File > Account > Product Information) and some related screenshots.
