A family of Microsoft word processing software products for creating web, email, and print documents.
Hi DarrenSam,
All that have replied above are correct.
Let me list the detail steps for you.
As they mentioned, there are two ways to meet your requirement.
- Find and Replace: This situation is suitable when you finish editing a document and replace the “car” at once.
Ctrl + H to open the “Find and Replace” in the left pane> Click the settings icon> Advanced Find and Replace.
There will be a “Find and Replace window” popping up> Replace tab> Type “car” in “Find what” and “Replace with” box> Click “Format” and choose “Font…”> Change the “Font style” to “Bold” and you can preview it below> OK.
- AutoCorrect in Word preference: This situation is suitable when you want to type “car” in bold font permanently.
You should first type the word “car” and change the font to bold.
Word> Preferences…> AutoCorrect.
AutoCorrect> Tick “Replace text as you type”> Click “Formatted text”> Add.
Then when you type “car”, it will be changed to bold font automatically.
Best Regards,
Gloria
