Print a small (A6) paper size on a larger sheet (A4)

Hello all,

I have a document in Microsoft Word 365 ProPlus where I have formatted the paper size to be A6 (105 x 148 mm) I want to now print this document on an A4 sheet of paper (the only paper I have) and for the document to remain as A6 with it's formatting, as I will cut it out.

How can I do this?

I've attached a simple picture as an example.

Thanks in advance,

Brendan.

If you don't change the paper size in the document, just feed A4 instead of A6, unless your printer is especially sophisticated, it won't know what size paper you've given it. The A6 may print at the top left or top center, but it will still be A6 size.

Selecting "4 pages per sheet" won't work. It will print an A4 page four times on an A4 sheet but, because it scales the original, it wouldn't work for A6.

Open the doc, File>Print......... adjust/select the required paper size and print the result

Or simply print what you have on your A4 paper

As Palcouk wrote, you should be able to just print your document. Are you saying that something goes wrong when you do that?

If I do that, I lose my formatting and it will just print to an A4 size from my understanding?
