MS Office 2016 Build 16.0.4266.1001 Microsoft Office can't find your license for this application.

I am using the MAK license on Windows 2016 and my users are getting the error "Microsoft Office can't find your license for this application. A repair attempt was unsuccessful or was cancelled. Microsoft Office will now exit.

This happening vrey frequently and none of the updates or patches have helped.

PLEASE HELP, My clients are getting very frustrated and I am going to lose my business....

    This is not O365, this is the full version of Office 2016 Standard downloaded form the VLSC website.

    If the above does not works try the following steps: 

    Reset Office 365 ProPlus 2013 and/or 2016 activation state
