Zooming when typing

How do I stop the computer from zooming in when I am typing without me sliding the zooming in and out button? Did I accidently press a button while typing?

    Hi Rhona,

    A touchpad can do this. If you have one, you may want to reduce its sensitivity.

    <CTL><mouse wheel> is also a Word zoom shortcut.  Are you accidentally doing that?

    Hi RhonaJM

    The keyboard shortcut in Windows for zooming in is Ctrl + Plus, this does not work in Office, in Office it is Ctrl + scroll up on your mouse wheel

    Are you using either of those while typing?
