Copying an A4 PDF into word as an A4 picture

Hi All,

I have printed A4 documents which i have scanned onto my computer as pdfs. The plan was to get these bound but the margins are not fit for purpose according to the printing company. My plan was then to copy the scanned pdfs to word and set the margins correctly. However when I copy from adobe to word the scans are not to A4 scale and if I pull them out to fit A4 they appear distorted.

Please help!!!

Regards

Find out exactly what margin settings the printing company wants and then make appropriate adjustments to your Word document and then save it as a pdf, rather than printing and scanning etc.

    Hi,

If you can, adjust your scanner to scan into A4 size and rescan.

Perhaps have your scanner scan to images (.jpg) rather than pdf.

    Talk to the printing company.

If you have Publisher, that may be a better fit for what you are trying to do. Word is not really a page-layout program and Publisher is.

I hope this information helps. Please let me know if you have any more questions or require further help.

    Regards
