Electrical shapes missing in Visio Standard 2019 ?

Looking to have house built and want to draw up outlet and switch locations.

Visio 2007 has served me well for the 2-3 times a year I use it.

however, it doesn't have any electrical shapes in it, so I bought 2019 Standard.

No electrical shapes there either.

I can go to FILE - NEW - Electrical and Telecom Plan and open a drawing, but there are no Shapes in left-hand side.

A message says:

Where are my Shapes?

There are no stencils open.

Click the More Shapes menu above to browse shape categories and open stencils.

Shouldn't that have Shapes???

Nothing there, Open Stencil just shows Favorites.

Looked at all the Shapes, even Maps and Floor Plans/Building Plan had no Electrical Shapes.

Am I missing something, or did I waste $300...

    I may have found a solution for you . .

    In VIsio, go to Shapes - More Shapes - Open Stencil...

    Navigate and open this file (replace OfficeXX with the appropriate folder)

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\OfficeXX\Visio Content\1033\EE*.vss

    Then why have an Electrical and Telecom Plan that you can't add electrical or telecom shapes?

    Makes no sense.

    I wasted $300, Thanks Microsoft.

    Thanks for the reply, but that just gets templates.

    There are no Stencils/Shapes that correspond to the Engineering templates.

    I've looked at that link, wasn't any help.

    I've looked for that file, doesn't exist.

    I think lsamis2 was right, not in Standard version.

    Electrical engineering shapes are only in Visio Pro and Premium, not Standard.

    There is 3rd party shapes are available
