Fill Handle in Excel 2010 on a 4k monitor invisible/super tiny

I'm using Excel 2010 and the fill handle is completely invisible on any resolution over 1080

It's literally invisible. I can zoom in to the maximum zoom excel allows and it's just not there, BUT, if I position my mouse cursor JUST RIGHT in that little 6 pixel square, I can do the fill and drag options. The annoyance of trying to get the tip of the cursor in just the right place to grab the handle makes me realize exactly why they call it a "Cursor" because I just keep screaming obscenities as the icon flashes from drag, to mouse, to drag, to mouse.... etc

I'm using windows 10 and I have the DPI scale turned on. I tried using the custom settings (right-click exe, compatibility, change DPI) and neither one helps.

The only way to use the fill handle somewhat comfortably is to change the resolution down to 1080 (or even better 720) but that creates it's own set of problems. And even then, the fill handle is still microscopic (probably about 0.1% of the default cell size) but not invisible.

It's not a massive problem because once the sheet is built I don't need the fill handles so much, but it is VERY irritating while making a new sheet.

Is there any way to increase the size of the fill handle? Or is it just my fault for using such an old version of office?

I didn't notice that when I was using 4K, but I have to admit I didn't specifically look for it then (I don't use fill handle very much).

This is not something MS will bother fixing in 2010.  But I suspect you'll find the same thing in 2019 (or even worse!).

Sorry to say, there is no control in Excel or Windows that will fix that problem.

Have you tried looking at the spreadsheet in Excel Online. It may be slightly "better".

    Office Online (Propaganda page)

This page is one way of accessing Office online. Just sign in, then click on the "Get started for free" button to take to a home page with buttons for all of the Office Online applicastions you have access to.

You should submit this complaint as a "Feedback" to MS. It is something they should work on since 4K monitors are coming to be much more common.
