According to your description, we suggest you try the following and check the outcome:
- Perform the below steps:
a. Open any Office application> File> Account.
b. Click on the Sign out under User Information.
c. Restart the computer and open any Office application> File> Sign in.
- If it doesn’t help, remove the Office credentials and see the outcome.
a. Sign out from Office applications and quit all Office applications
b. Open the Control Panel> Credential Manager.
c. Select the Windows Credentials.
d. Remove all Microsoft Office credentials, OneDrive credentials.
e. Restart the computer and open any Office applications> sign in

- Screenshot of the error message encountered.
As you mentioned, “the product information is not right. Still showing Office365 proplus”, If you’re having Office Enterprise (E3 or E5), in the Product Information it shows up Office 365 ProPlus and Office 365 for Business (Business and Business Premium), uses Office 365 Business as a desktop client. So, we suggest checking your Office 365 Subscription for comparing it.
Sign to Office 365 portal> Click on your display name> My account> Subscriptions.
