documents printing light

When I print a document from Word, the printing is very light. 

Printing from Excel or Notepad or emails is fine.  Just Word documents.

    This suggests that the brighter color was brought in from the web site, as part of the copied data.

    In the future, what you can do is paste as "Unformatted Text." For example, when you see the little Paste Options button, click the arrow and choose the "Keep Text Only" option on the far right:

    Try changing the text color from "Automatic" (which is the default) to "Black" and see if that overcomes the issue.

    Check File | Options | Advanced: Print to make sure that "Use draft quality" isn't checked.

    I tried this and it is still printing light.

    I discovered what was causing the problem, but I do not know how to prevent it in future.

    The document I was printing, I had copied and pasted from a website.

    I did this, in order to make some changes to what I needed.

    When I retyped the page, it printed perfectly.
