Does Excel 2016 has Microsoft barcode control 16.0 ActiveX Control?

I can not see Microsoft barcode control 16.0 ActiveX Control under Excel 2016 --> Developer Tab--> Insert Control --> ActiveX Control --> More Controls

Please can you help me how to get this ActiveX control? Is there any setup need to be installed in my windows 10 computer?

Hi Bhimarasetti,

The Excel 2016 does not have this ActiveX Control anymore. According to this article: Insert a barcode into an Office document, it was able to add the barcode in Office 2007 client with the barcode policy from SharePoint Server and it was discontinued since SharePoint Server 2013. There is no other official information about Barcode control. I did not find it in our test machine.

If you want to insert barcode, I believe there are third-party add-ins available and you can consider some of them as workarounds.
