Where do I check its status?

To the best of my knowledge, you don't. There is no online access for users.

You have to contact MS support, give them your trouble ticket number and ask them for it. Not that it is likely to have any relation to the reality of your problem (ie they will mark it resolved, even you are still having the problem ... )
