503 SERVICE UNAVAILABLE error on SharePoint using office 365.

Our SharePoint is hosted with office365 and we are getting random 503 errors. Sometimes it work but for the most part it seems like it is down.

    Hi John,

    We just checked to confirm if there are any Service Incidents on this issue and so far we are seeing none, so we would like to confirm a few things about the issue:

    1. Is the issue happening to a specific site, or all sites in the tenant are affected?
    2. Is the issue happening to all users?
    3. When did the issue started happening?

    Hi John,

    Thank you for the information. Our test tenant is not having the issue, so this means that the impact might only be affecting a few farms.

    As a 503 response means the issue is with the server, we do not think that you need to do any troubleshooting on your end. 

    Moving forward, there are 2 suggestions that we think makes sense:

    1. Monitor your Service Health Dashboard to see if there will be announcing a Service Incident.
    2. If the issue persists after a few hours, report the issue to the related team so that they can involve further resources. This can be done by directly contacting Business Support.

    Thank you for the reply, 

    1. All sites
    2. All users 
    3. Today, around 10am. 

    I checked https://downdetector.com/status/sharepoint and found that we are not the only ones. I reached out to some former work mates and found some were having the same issues but now all. 

    At this time I am waiting to see if it resolves its self.
