Two conditions must be met:

  1. Your Mac must have a live internet connection
  2. You must have Enable optional connected experiences checked in PowerPoint > Preferences > Privacy

This is useless information which does not address the issue posed by the OP. Your mention of Bing also suggests that it's merely a Windows-based reply which has no bearing on Mac issues.

The Online Pictures item should be listed even if the conditions Jim mentioned are not satisfied, but you'll get a notification of the issue when you select it. If the Online Pictures item is not even listed in the Pictures dropdown it suggests that your installation of Office may be in need of updating. Please go to PowerPoint> About PowerPoint in the main menu to determine the specific Version of your Office software. Include that information in your reply.

    Hi. D.Suri

My name is Anthony, an Independent Advisor trying to help.

First, before any advanced solution or if you have already tried some steps, restart the computer and do one of the following:

    • Select Insert> Images if you want an image from your PC.

    • Select Insert> Online images for web images.

Tip: To insert an image of your OneDrive, go to the drop-down list in the upper left and switch from Bing to OneDrive.

Select the image you want and then Insert.

    Resize or move images:

    • To resize an image, select it and drag one of the controllers in the corner.

    • To adjust text around an image, select it and then select a setting option.

Tip: Select an option other than In line with text and you can move the image around the page: select the image and drag it.

    Best Regards.

    Anthony. -
