Additional 50GB Onedrive

Microsoft recently gave me an additional 50GB of storage for my OneDrive for free with my package. Is this a permanent feature or will they take it away or charge me extra for it at some point?

This is probably in the wrong section but I couldn't relate it to anything else.

There is an option buy additional OneDrive space for $2 per month. Originally it came in 50GB lumps.  Recently those additional allocations were increased to 100GB, for the same price.
