Hi I had this strange problem. I like to use this font type "Open Sans" and I noticed that it is not displayed correctly on my Word 365. However when I export this document as a PDF document using PDF maker, Open Sans is displayed correctly. So what's the problem?

I uninstalled and reinstalled my Office 365 and this problem just went away. Case close.

If you define a new style that uses the Open Sans font and then apply that style to some text in the document, does the text then appear with the correct (Open Sans) font?

Clicking on the checkbox does not prompt anything. However when I click on the "Font Substitution" box, it says "No font substitution is necessary. All fonts used in this document are available."

    Hi!

what kind of 365 subscription do you have? Does this happens to every Word file?

    Please follow these steps:

opening the document in question in word, click on File -> Options -> Advanced Settings. You will find under the Show Document Content section, the Font Substitution button. After clicking on it, what does it say?
