How do I make it so hyperlinks open in chrome

When I click hyperlinks in protected view or google docs it's fine. When I enable editing though it's like it's trying to find the webpage in windows explorer and directing to the folder the file is saved in. Trying to change the browser in advanced settings only gives me outdated internet explorer versions as options.

    Hi Jordan,

In order to choose which browser will open hyperlinks, you will have to change your default browser. This is currently the only option available when working/editing on your MSOffice desktop applications.

You say that only outdated IE options are available, but have you downloaded other browser applications such as Firefox or Chrome?

    To change your default browser:

Select the Start button, and then type Default apps.
In the search results, select Default apps.
Under Web browser, select the browser currently listed, and then select a browser application that you have installed on your computer.

Let us know if this helps you or whether it was something different that you need assistance with.

    Cheers,
    Marie
