I'm using Microsoft excel in MAC and i see the formula separator/delimiter as semi-colon (;) instead of comma (,).

This is due to regional settings, but i changed that too as follows

and restarted the mac yet i see the formula separator as (;).

Microsoft 365 and Office | Excel | For home | Windows

    Hi Meenachi Sundaram V,

We understand how much inconvenient this situation for you. I have seen other solutions are to change the Region settings. After my test, I change the Region to United States and the Advanced setting is the same as yours. Then I restarted Mac, I found the separator in formula is comma (,).

As a workaround, we suggest you try the same steps as mine and see if the separator will change to comma (,).

If you set the Advanced settings and still can’t change semi-colon (;) to comma (,) when the Region is Poland, it may be related to the settings of Excel. We suggest you click the smile icon in the up right corner-> We don’t like somethingto feedback this problem to related team. It's the direct way to feedback this problem.

In addition, for your reference, you may find some helpful suggestion in this thread

    Regards,

    Ivy
