Setting up a Yammer account

Hi, I need to set up a Yammer account for my daughter so that she can access a KFC group. However, we have tried 3 different email addresses to create the account and each one says that a verification code has been sent (numerous times) but nothing arrives. we have checked the spam folder and nothing.  Can someone help me please. can the verification code be sent by text msg. I have tried to use my corporate email to log in however I cant access external groups from my work account so that doesn't help.  Do we have to have a special app or program installed to be able to access yammer???

    Thank you for posting,

    To sign-up for Yammer profile you need to have a corporate or Business email address, you can not create a Yammer profile using a generic email address like Hotmail, outlook, Gmail etc.  

    Also if you wish to connect any specific Yammer group ( KGF group) the email address that you are using to sign up for yammer should be with the same domain that is associated with the Yammer network on which tyour  Yammer group ( KGF group) is hosted.

    You can get the yammer assocated domain name by accessing the Yammer group ad checking the URL  on the browser for e.g. if the URL is something like https://yammer.com\contoso.com#/threads/inGroup?type=in_group&feedId=5737807872&view=all than contoso.com is the domain which is associated with this Yammer network.

    If this Yammer network is an enterprise Yammer network which is administere by an Yammer administrator than the adminitrator of the Yammer network should invite the user as guest user or external user if the group is external group.

    To see who is your Yammer administrator, Please login to your Yammer profile > click on top left gear icon > Peoples> click on view Network admins on top right corner.
