Translate tool in word keeps changing fonts and size

so my issue is pretty simple, the translate tool is unable to translate my document (keeps telling me to try later) but to translate paragraphs works fine so I have been doing that (from english to spanish) , However each time it keeps changing the format, someimtes random words are different size and they all change to calibri font when they are helvetica.Is there a way to make the translate mantain font and font size?

    Dear VictorNet,

    I’m following up on the issue.

    Based on my test, the translate tool’s font may be subject to the default font and size in the Normal.dotm file. I suggest you just set the font as Helvetica with the corresponding size in the Normal.dotm file via the steps in the article, close Word 2016 and then restart Word 2016 to do a test to see the result.

    the version of word is version 1808 (Build 0730.20344) and I have a proplus license.  

    I only use helvetica and the issue comes with changing the fonts, the size changes if I select multiple text with different sizes so it might be that. However I would like it to not change the font at all if possible, is that possible?

    Thank you for your message in this forum.

    I have tested it according to your description, I downloaded Helvetica font, then I used Helvetica font to edit document, then I used translate tool(Review > Translate > Translate document) to translate the document from English to Spanish, the font has been changed to Calibri, but the font size didn’t been changed.

    I have also used another font and language to test. If I used  Candara font, then I translated document from English to Russian language, the font has been changed to Calibri, but the  font size didn’t been changed.

    Are steps above consistent with yours? If not, could you provide detailed step about how you use translate tool to translate document and paragraphs?

    At the same time, to better understand your situation, I want to confirm the information below to do more tests:

    1. Could you provide the Product Information and Version of your Word? You can go to Word > File > Account > Product Information and provide the full screenshot of Product Information.
    2. May I know if you use another font and another language will encounter the same situation?
