Insert multiple page pdf into a Word document

Hi

I am trying to insert a multiple page pdf into a Word document, however, it will only embed as an object, so you need to click on it to open it or just shows the first page. I would like each page to be on a separate page in the Word document.

From looking around various help websites, it looks as though I should be able to do this in Word 2019 (which I have)  - but I don't seem to be able to do this.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Cheers,Tereza

An embedded object can't span across a page boundary in Word. What you can do is insert the PDF as an icon, which means that people can double-click the icon and see the PDF as a whole.

    Hi Dave

Thanks for getting back. Yes had tried that but it loses all the formatting. Nevermind, I will just copy and paste across the images.

    Thanks.

    Cheers,

    Tereza

    Hi Tereza

The only consistent way to do this is to open that PDF file in Word and save that as a Word document (*.docx)

Then, you should be able to insert the text from the resulting Word file into your document . . .
