Hello
I'm using version 16.28 of Word, and I cannot restart or shutdown the computer to allow the apps updates because Word won't quit, and there's no Force Quit option.
Can anyone give me some light on this?
Thanks!
JTous

I forgot to state that I’m using Word for Mac, so Task Manager is not an option. But, thanks to your suggestion to restart manually I kept searching how to do it without having to remove the battery from the MacBook, and finally found the Force Quit feature and solved the problem. The macOS Mojave operating system has this feature in a different place than in the macOS Sierra that my old MacBook had.
I found that the Force Quit option in MacOS Mojave is only available in the pull-down Menu under the Apple icon. Formerly, Quit and Force Quit where both available upon right-clicking the application icon.
I really appreciate your time caring to help me with this
Thanks again, and blessings to you!
