Click-To-Run Office 2016 Update Rollback?

I think the Office 2016 July 2019 Update (*Version 1907 (Build 11901.20176))*has changed the formatting on my Word docs. Is it possible to rollback a Click-To-Run Office 2016 Update?

If not I might have to uninstall Office 2016 and reinstall with the option not to install updates. That would be a shame.

    Hi Ruth,

If you really want to rollback a couple of builds, Rolling back is easy enough. Type cmd on the start menu, right click on the Command Prompt, choose Run as Administrator then copy and paste the line in the command prompt.

This is Version 1906: July 09 Version 1906 (Build 11727.20244)

    "C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun\officec2rclient.exe" /update user updatetoversion=16.0.11727.20244

If you want to use a different build, get the build # from https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/... and update the command line.

According to Microsoft it was more than a security update:

    Version 1907: July 29

    Version 1907 (Build 11901.20176)

    • Various bugs and performance fixes.

    Before update:

    After update:

I have been working on this problem for over a week and had posted a previous question. I think I've narrowed it down to this update. After the update the formatting has changed.

    Thanks!

A security update will not have changed any formatting

And your plans for re-install will come to nothing.

Explain/detail provde sniped screen shots in your response
