Some blue markers suddenly appeared in my document!

For some reason I now have blue "paragraph" markers at the end of every paragraph and inserted into every blank line.  I read to find the show/hide switch but where is it in Word for Mac v. 16.25?

Thanks in advance.

There are at least 3 ways to toggle the display of non-printing characters On/Off:

    • Click the button in the  Paragraph group on the Home tab,
    • Use the keyboard shortcut Command+8,
    • Go to Word> Preferences> View to clear the check for All in the Non-Printing Characters section.
