Install office 365 for university students

Dear all,

I am a university student. I have registered via office 365 website with my university email, but I am not able to install office 365 on my computer.

Please check the below error.

    Its a free version provided by your Uni, but online only, no desktop components

    I was going to suggest considering Office 365 University. But it appears that MS has (dis)"improved" it from the product line, "replacing" it with the 2 Office 365 Education offerings, which are inferior (imho).

    Charles, you may want to check it out. The link you included on your page for 365 University has been redirected to the 365 Education page. I googled and could no longer find any active links to 365 University (bummer!).

    Hi nightearth,

    That message is telling you that your university is not participating in that program or assigns the licenses to the account. You'll need to speak with your IT department and confirm your school is participating.

    Many schools participate in one of the programs here - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/a... (the free version is web versions only, not desktop installs).
