I just rebuilt my computer and re-installed my copy of Office 2016 Pro.  I entered my product activation key however, whenever I launch any of the Office applications I get prompted to re-enter the key each time.  What's with that??

I fixed the issue by uninstalling and re-installing Office 2016.  Once I activated the software I am not prompted to activate again.  All is well now.

    That is not correct...

The activation key is NOT rejected with any error message.  In fact, as it always has it says that the activation code has been accepted and then the prompt goes away and I can use the application.  However, as I stated when I relaunch any Office 2016 application it prompts me again for the activation key, which I enter and again the activation code is accepted and the prompt goes away and I can use the application.

Office 2016 Pro when first installed is associated with an MS Account and you have log on to this account to reinstall.

In your case the Key should be rejected with an error msg, so I would perhaps ask where you purchased 2016 from?
