The save as pdf option of PowerPoint is removing the bolded parts

Hi, I have an urgent question and I'd really appreciate some help.

I made a book (sort of) using the PowerPoint, for my term paper.

I'm trying to save as a PDF, to print it, but whenever I save as a PDF, all the bolded parts become normal font.

And this is annoying cause the parts I highlighted using the Bold are relevant and need to be highlighted.

The font is Bahnschrift.

Any idea how to fix it?

    >> Open Adobe Acrobat and use Create PDF From File

Luke stated that he has Reader, not the full Acrobat, so this isn't workable advice.

Open Adobe Acrobat and use Create PDF From File, feeding it the Powerpoint file to convert. See if that does the trick for you.

The Save As function never has been real reliable. So, printing the presentation first will often reveal any problems that are going to be present when saved as a PDF. If it doesn't print right, it won't save as right.

    Hi Marjiiee.

Yes, that's exactly what I've made.

I first tried saving as and changing to pdf, but the bolded parts were back to normal.

Then I tried printing but this wouldn't fully solve my problem. It became a weaker bold.

I didn't want to change the font, since that would imply in having to format the whole document.

In addition, If your style of exporting is thru save as > change file format to pdf.
    Or
Print > print to file then converting it to pdf thru third party site or application.

But both above mention still cannot solve your problem. Then much better to change your font (e.g. calibri or arial or other commonly use fonts). This maybe happens if pdf application is not accepting Bahnschrift as their font.

Just keep me updated if this solve your issue.
    Have a nice day !
