Hi,

One of our users have issues with getting emails. We get this message.

All emails from today are stuck with status: Getting status

Can you please help us with this issue?

Office 365 received the message that you specified, but delivery to the recipient () has been delayed. We're working on delivering it.

This is the last record we have for the message: In proces

Check the Message Events table below for any additional information about why message delivery might be delayed. For example, it might be due to a temporary issue trying to connect to the recipient's email server outside of Office 365. Many such delays clear up on their own, and the message gets delivered. If Office 365 isn't able to send or deliver the message within 48 hours, the sender will receive a non-delivery report (NDR) message with more information about how to fix the issue.

If you don't want to wait for the message to finish being processed, consider asking the sender to send the message again using a different email address.

Thanks.

Hi Domagoj,

This is happening on a business exchange account? Without seeing the events table, its hard to say where the issue is - I checked the office 365 health status and there is not an advisory for this.

https://portal.office.com/Adminportal/Home#/ser...

The office 365 admin can open a support case and the office 365 support personnel can take a look. (This is a user-to-user forum, we can't see account information.)

    Hello Domagoj Klarić,

To have a better knowledge of your current situation, May I collect following information for checking?

    1. Whether you and your user are in Office 365 Business online environment, and use Office 365 Exchange online mail service?
    2. From the status you shared, is it a message sent to impacted user mailbox? If so, may I collect complete one in Private Message (to protect your privacy) for checking?
    3. You can run message tracefor one delayed email (choose type as “Extended report”) in Security & Compliance center and provide it with me in private message so I can check it on my side.

    1. Only this user in your organization having this issue?

To access private message, you can click this link: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/privatemessage/inbox

    Best Regards,

    Anna
