    How do I convert a jpeg document to a Word document? (Gloria Li MSFT Replied on November 25, 2019)

    IMO: Basically FM is now inviting OP to post whatever sites. Commercial products etc etc.

    I do not understand anymore what's going on here in MC.

    I hope this helps and is understandable.  I put this together very fast! Click the following : This is what worked for me via Office 365 to create an OCR (optical character recognition of a JPEG file) ONE Note option: (1 less option, option) Go to this Sway

    ONE Note option: (1 less option, option)

    1. Open File in Word; if file will not open, create NEW FILE in Word and INSERT image to convert as a PICTURE
    2. Ctrl+P aka PRINT and Choose to Send to ONE NOTE and Save.
    3. In program with newly saved file, Right click document & choose COPY TEXT FROM this page or all of printout.
    4. Open NEW FILE IN WORD and Paste (Ctrl +V) and you should have the text within the image;

    *TIPS - editing a document image within WORD is helpful to ensure the image has a good contrast and definition; also, I like to turn all images into greyscale which can be found under the options. This was put together very fast and I discovered this upon error…good luck!

    Hi michaelrohr,

    To convert JPEG file to Word document, I’m sorry there is no direct way for Office to achieve this, based on my search, here is another method for you to refer, please use ZAMZARto have a try.

    1. Choose the JPG file that you want to convert.
    2. Select DOC as the format you want to convert your JPG file to.
    3. Click "Convert" to convert your JPG file.
