Microsoft word and Avery 5260 Labels

Label program on Word

Using Avery Label 5260

When it prints the list on the three columns, they are not lined up.

The first column is fine the second column is right on the left edge of the label and the third column is in the left gutter

I have tried all the label adjustments and nothing is working.

It would be ideal if the left margin printed 1/4" from the labels left edge

It's a Word problem - not the labels

Any Ideas -

Make sure that in the Backstage Print view, the document is not being scaled for A4 paper size.

    Hi Fran,

I am assuming that you are using the setting in Label options for your label rather than a template from Avery. If not, you should be.

The way I would handle this would be to produce the labels as a separate document and add about a 5/8-inch left margin to the document produced and shrink the right margin the same. This is far from perfect.

For perfect, I would create my own label template and adjust the margins. Labels in Word are Tables and all of the tools for tables are available to edit them.

Another option would be to find a different label number that worked.

If you want, I can prepare a temalte with the label margins set like you want and post it for you.

Are you doing a mail merge?
