Word (2016) missing proofing language. How to install it?

Hello everyone :)

How can I install the proofing language for English (Switzerland)?

Missing the appropriate proofing language (or rather having a unmatched/different language between word Editing Language and Windows UI) results in a bug were word constantly reverts to Times New Roman font and thus basically becomes unusable (see this)

Thank you very much in advance for your help

Best,

If you click on Not Installed, you should be taken to a Microsoft site from which you can download the language.

    Thanks :)

"Not Installed" is not clickable in my case (see screenshot)

In Word, click File > Account > About Word and see if you are running 32 bit or 64 bit Office. You have to install the corresponding proofing tools ("x86" for 32 bit and "x64" for 64 bit).

    thanks :)

I don't understand how to do this:

If Not Installed appears in the Proofing column, you might need to obtain a language pack or language interface pack to obtain the proofing tools for your language.
