Resume and cover letter template

Every time that I try to open the resume and cover letter template on Microsoft word it reads "something went wrong whild downloading template."

Publisher is another program in the Office Suite on Windows.

In your Windows search box, type "publisher" and press Enter.

However, to my surprise, Publisher does not list any resume templates.

There are more than 50 resumes template and almost as many cover letter templates.

Try another one.

If none are working, try starting Word in Safe mode and then trying.

    There are lots of templates out there. Try a different one.

    Long term, this is about you. Don't depend on a template to tell your story.

    Also, look in Publisher.

    Try after restarting your computer.

    Hi Ladytee20,

    Thanks for posting in the forum.

    From your post, it appears you are trying to download a template and while trying to do so you get the error.

    In Word, you can get pre-built templates when you click File>New, in the search box, type the name of the template you are looking for.

    When you select a template, you'll be presented with a dialog box that shows you a larger view of the template. To download and use it, click the Createbutton and a new file will be created for you.

    You can also download the Resumes and Cover Letters templates from here.

    If you are still getting the error downloading the template, please provide the following information to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. May I know from where you have downloaded the template or from where you are trying to?
    2. Please provide the screenshot of Office 365 Product Information. To get this screenshot, open any Office app, such as Word or Excel on your computer, click File>Account, capture the screenshot of all the information mentioned under Product Information.
    3. Which specific Resumes and Cover Letters template are you trying to use? Could you please provide the name?
    4. At which step do you get the error?

    What is publisher? I have tried many  times restarting my computer but nothing happens. It just stays the same.
